Understand each line of your quote.
STCs are small-scale technology certificates created for eligible renewable energy installations. When you assign the right to create them to a registered agent, the agreed value may be applied as a discount on your system.
The solar and battery components have different calculations and requirements. Ask for the certificate discount to be shown separately for each eligible component, alongside the equipment, installation and other charges.
A useful distinction
Incentives and payment options are different.
An incentive can reduce an eligible installation’s cost. Finance is an agreement about how that cost is paid. Do not treat a repayment amount as the total price, or a loan as an additional government rebate.
If you are considering a payment arrangement, request its complete written terms and total amount payable. Any available product, approval process, fees and eligibility need to be confirmed with the relevant provider. This page does not make a finance offer.

What should I confirm before accepting a quote?
Check the specified equipment, installation scope, exclusions, discount values, expected installation timing and final customer price. Ask how a change in installation date or scheme rules could affect that price.
